Greenrail sleepers are eco-innovative railway sleepers that merge traditional concrete cores with outer shells made of recycled plastic and rubber from end-of-life tires. This patented design significantly reduces environmental impact while increasing the lifespan and performance of railway infrastructure. Each kilometer of Greenrail sleepers reuses approximately 35 tons of waste materials, contributing to circular economy goals.
Beyond sustainability, Greenrail also offers smart infrastructure capabilities. Variants of the product include Greenrail Solar, which integrates photovoltaic modules to generate renewable energy; Greenrail Piezo, which harnesses kinetic energy from train vibrations; and Greenrail LinkBox, a system for real-time rail monitoring.
