Product description

The GENAQ Nimbus N4500 is a high-capacity atmospheric water generator (AWG) engineered to produce potable water in remote or infrastructure-limited environments. Utilizing ambient humidity, it generates up to 4,445 liters of clean drinking water per day, making it ideal for industrial sites such as oil rigs, mining camps, construction sites, and military installations.

Key characteristics and environmental benefits

Key Features:

  • High Water Production: Generates approximately 4,445 liters per day under optimal conditions (30°C, 80% RH).

  • Energy Efficiency: Consumes about 0.22 kWh per liter, with a nominal power requirement of 40.8 kW.

  • Robust Construction: Built with galvanized steel and polyester paint for corrosion resistance; dimensions are 2170 x 2380 x 3420 mm, and it weighs 5,200 kg.

  • Adaptability: Operates effectively in temperatures up to 55°C and low humidity conditions.

  • Water Purification: Equipped with multi-stage filtration, including sediment filters, activated carbon, mineralization, UV treatment, and optional chlorine dosing.

  • External Tank Compatibility: Supports external tanks up to 2,000 liters with integrated recirculation to maintain water quality. Noise Level: Operates at approximately 74 dB(A) at 1 meter.

  • 🌍 Environmental Benefits

    • 💧 Eliminates Need for Bottled Water:
Produces large volumes of clean drinking water directly from air.

    • 🚚 Cuts Transport Emissions:
By generating water on-site, the Nimbus N4500 eliminates the need for water transport (by truck or pipeline),

    • 🔄 Reduces Pressure on Natural Water Sources:
The system reduces dependency on rivers, lakes, and underground aquifers, helping preserve critical freshwater ecosystems and support water resilience in arid and overexploited regions.

    • ♻️ Energy Efficiency for Large-Scale Use:
Despite its high capacity, the N4500 is engineered for energy efficiency (~0.22 kWh/L), especially when combined with renewable energy sources like solar or wind, further reducing its carbon footprint.

    • 🌡️ Operates in Harsh Climates:
Enables water access in off-grid and high-temperature areas where conventional water systems are unsustainable, thus helping vulnerable communities adapt to climate change impacts.

    • 🔬 Advanced Filtration Reduces Chemical Use:
Its multi-stage purification system (including UV and optional chlorine dosing) minimizes the need for chemical-laden water treatments.

About the Company

GENAQ TECHNOLOGIES, S.L., is a Spanish company specializing in the research, development, and industrialization of atmospheric water generators (AWGs). With over 35 years of experience inherited from its industrial group, GENAQ offers innovative solutions to address global water scarcity by extracting water from air humidity. Their technology replicates the natural process of rain, requiring only air and a source of energy to produce ultra-pure drinking water. Committed to sustainability, GENAQ's AWGs reduce dependence on traditional water sources, minimize plastic waste, and lower carbon footprints, contributing to a more environmentally friendly future
