Product description

Biopac ink is a seaweed-based ink that is applicable for screen printing on Biopac packaging, paper, and cardboard. It is water-soluble ink. In the retail portion, it is applicable for heavy metal-free water painting and face painting. For screen printing and watercolor painting, 10% ink in water is enough, but for face painting, the concentration should be slightly higher.

Key characteristics and environmental benefits

  1. The raw material is seaweed, the most sustainable material. It doesn't need land, pesticides, fertilizer, or irrigation.

  2. The seaweed cultivation cycle is only 45 days. It is abundantly available throughout the year.

  3. To increase the color intensity, we use CODEX-permitted food colors. We welcome customers who request natural dyes with additional cost.

About the Company

Seaweedtama Biopac Indonesia is a tech-based company committed to combating plastic waste pollution by manufacturing seaweed-based packaging. Founded in 2019 by two women co-founders, including CEO Noryawati Mulyono, the company leverages Indonesia's abundant natural resources to create sustainable, biodegradable, and compostable packaging solutions. Biopac's products are designed to be safe for humans, animals, and the environment, addressing the pressing issue of plastic pollution that contributes to environmental degradation and health problems. By utilizing seaweed, Biopac not only provides an eco-friendly alternative to plastic but also empowers coastal communities through job creation and sustainable livelihoods. The company's dedication to environmental sustainability is evident in its continuous research and development efforts, aiming to replace single-use plastics with renewable, non-toxic materials that support a circular economy.
